your first one thing to do after you arrive in thailand

my next things to think about is about when i already decided to went to bangkok and first thing i had to do is finding the internet (haha, you might thought hotels, but the first thing i look is internet connection).

as far as i know, most of the traveler will choose to use modem so that you can use it for multiple device but after i look and searching most modem for using in thailand will have limited quota (aka limit internet user), most of the internet modem gives quota only 1 GB (some will offer 500MB) per day, therefore my wife try to find another options, because we need it for our route and also our son sometimes need his time.

so after choosing a lot of different modem internet, and none of them gives us unlimited data. we choose to use this SIM 4G internet (click and get your discount),

why do you have to choose this? because the first things is its value, it is a lot cheaper than if you rent the wifi modem device. it cost you daily around IDR. 80,000 or USD 5.5 (rate 14.400), and you have to deposit for the modem. and if you are using for 7 days it will cost you around USD 38.5.

while if you are using this, it cost you around USD 4.5 and it only cost you once, when you bought that you have 2.5 GB now, (while on may 2018 i bought, i got 3 GB, probably change over time, you should find the information first before buy it) you can check it here.

if you are using more than that than you can bought extra, because it is so easy to activate it. just plug in you sim card on your smartphone and ready to go. and i bought 3 sim card last visit (for my wife, and my son) for 7-8 days, and we are satisfied with it. oh i almost forgot, we have 100 THB for calling.

where to buy? well, when i arrived it at the arrival hall gate 2, because sometimes the place moves and i guess near money changer and airport link, 2 floor below your arrival hall gate 2 (but for your convenient you can ask in the information center once you arrived).
